Ikiperu Patchwork Cushions
Ikiperu Patchwork Cushions are part of the accessories presented by Poltrona Frau at Salone del Mobile 2023, created by designer Kristine Five Melvær who, inspired by Etruscan civilisation and fashion, creates archetypal geometric motifs with a powerful decorative value.
Ikiperu Patchwork Cushions is named after the goddess Cupra, protector of the earth and fertility, worshipped in central Italy in Etruscan times. The design that connects the pieces in this collection celebrates the ancient Picenum culture with graphic and geometric references obtained by carvings and leather overlays. The material and tactile contrasts between the overlapping layers enhance the range of colours and quality of the leather used by Poltrona Frau for its timeless furnishings.
